We are a 'living history' group, which means we go beyond the classroom theory learning experience and actually practice the medieval trades. We are hands-on scholars. Everything we do and learn is researched and historically based to a practical degree. Medieval means European history from the 11th to the mid-15th century.
We are based in Edmonton, Canada; and meet weekly to share the arts, trades, history, and culture of the era.
Our current guilds include:

  • Sewing
  • Armoured Combat
  • Theatrical Combat
  • Wood working
  • Leather working
  • Blacksmithing
  • Brewing
  • Apothecary
  • Dancing
  • Music
  • Spinning

In addition, we have had workshops on:
  • Candle making
  • Caligraphy
  • Illuminations
  • Heraldry
  • Wood carving
  • Cooking
  • Mead making
  • Knifes
  • Torches
  • Banners
  • And many, many, many more!
We can't say we do it all (there are no burnings of heretics) but we do all the best!

We also hold performances and public events throughout the year, tournaments (featuring our fully-armoured Knights!), feasts (featuring period-authentic cuisine and music!), camping, archery.

  • During the school months we meet Tuesday nights at 7:30PM.
We welcome visitors on the first Tuesday of every month.
